Idaho the Movie 2 features a special treat for viewers: sweeping aerial cinematography of the entire state. Director Tom Hadzor spent six days in a full size helicopter fixed with a gyro-stabilized camera on the nose. His pilot and crew flew over Idaho’s most remote and rugged wilderness areas and epic back country. The footage is breathtaking.
The camera used to film the scenes is called a RED Dragon. It shoots in 5K, which is almost three times the size of regular high definition. The results are pretty amazing, even to seasoned professionals like ourselves.
We can’t wait to share Idaho the Movie 2 with you! Coming soon– from the air!
